Man, you're telling me. I've been guarding this date for a couple of weeks now, and then this! I'm going to try to get it working Sat. morning, but I am a terrible mechanic, so I'll probably need to get the pros to do it.

Michael, I'm not much of a mechanic myself, but if you need a second pair of hands I can help out (unless my sister comes into town tomorrow). I've got some tools too.

Sorry to hear that Michael, I don't understand how the clutch works, but if I could be of any help just let me help.

Thanks guys. From a post over in the Tech section the theory is that the O-rings on the shaft that goes between the clutch slave and the clutch plate have gotten loose or mangled. If so it should be fixable by me. More than that and I call my pals at Ducati of Marin.
