Safe in SLO.
Made it safe back into SLO last night. [thumbsup]
2600 miles on a 2004 S4R and man is that a fun bike. A much better touring bike then the 620, so nice to be cruising at 80/90 and only having the bike spinning at 5k rpm or so. [cheeky] And accidentally popping wheelies while splitting LA traffic is priceless (yes, I am a total squid ;D).
Just remind me never to take another bike with a stock seat that far again. [laugh]

Glad to hear you're close to home and safe. The S4R is a surprisingly decent touring bike! After my Oregon trip (a measly 1400 mile round trip) I was surprised at how well my arse held out on the stock seat >
