Just bought a 07 S4Rs and have been noticing that the twist grip takes a considerable amount of force to twist. Anyone else have this problem? I wonder is there a fix for this like lighter return springs or something? I traded bikes with my buddy on a ride yesterday and couldnt belive the diference. I almost looped it taking off because I was using the same amount of force I normally use on my bike.

I have an S4Rs as well, and the throttle twist is a bit heavy. My 900ss was the same, very heavy throttle.

I've had several Jap bikes over the years, and the throttle twist was much lighter on all of them. It may just be a Ducati thing, as everyone I've talked to says they have a heavy throttle twist. I suppose you could try lighter return springs, but would it be worth the hassle and more importantly would they be safe (would the throttle close properly???)
