I have had my S4R for over 2 years now. It used to run pretty consistently around 180 degrees. Now, it runs at 148 degrees on the freeway. I have tried 3 thermostats and 2 temp sensors with no change.

What do the rest of you S4R owners see for freeway temps?

I am always making changes, but the temp change happened while I wasn't making any changes. I noticed that my fuel mileage dropped from 47 mpg to 38 mpg, on the same commute and then I noticed that the engine seamed to be running colder than normal. So, maybe my Power Commander went haywire and started dumping more fuel. That might account for the drop in mileage and the reduced engine temps.
