I am thinking of purchasing the "Upper triple tree with clip-on bars kit" found on this page

http://www.rizoma.com/english/en_ducati_monster.html

It says that it is for the 2002 ducati monster 750, but I have a 2001 ducati monster 750. Does anyone know whether that part will still fit? :-\

Im wanting to get that part and add these mirrors to it.

Radial naked - BS134BG gold/black biposition € 129,00
http://www.rizoma.com/english/en_mirrors.html

Does anyone have any experience with Rizoma parts? Good quality? Reliable? :-\

I have Rizoma:

Mirrors
Belt covers
Clutch cover
Drive sprocket cover
Pressure plate
Clutch cover

Their products are top quality...My mechanic commented on how nicely the belt covers fit, he said he has seen other brands that did not fit well.

I noticed you mentioned price in Euros. If you are in the states, P.J.'s parts is THE place to get your Rizoma parts, good price and service...I would not hesitate to order from P.J. again and recommend him highly!

Bump on both Rizoma quality and P.J.'s parts. My favorite local shop even converted to sourcing from them. I've also got Rizoma stuff from www.carpimoto.com which worked out well too but they're in Italy.

So Rizoma parts are good then ROFL cheers guys :)

I was planning the following:
Rizoma Radial naked mirrors (gold/black) - 129euro - http://www.rizoma.com/english/en_mirrors.html
Rizoma Handlebar caps (gold, as showin in first pic on following page) - 39euro - http://www.rizoma.com/english/en_handlebar_caps.html
Rizoma Sport line Handle Grips (Gold) - 49euro - http://www.rizoma.com/english/en_grips.html

I got an email from Rizoma and they said their clipons+triple (http://www.rizoma.com/english/en_ducati_monster.html) do NOT fit my 2001 monster :( Its due to the triple being different... but the clipons themselves should fit right?

I quote Euros because I live in Italy, about 2 hours from Rome :)

Cheers about PJ's, the site is allready in my quicklinks tho :)

I actually have another account here but cant remember my password so login as this account from this pc, but login as chrisr1982edin from my own laptop.

I am looking to find out the EXACT measurements of my front forks, they are the originals not aftermarket.

I have decided in 2 years to buy a brand new S4RS so im saving up for all the parts so when I order the bike I can get the parts fitted at the same time. So when I get my new S4RS I get it allready fitted with Carbon Termis, clipons etc etc :)

But in the mean time for the next 2 years im going to make the most out of my 750 :) Im not going to sell her in 2 years, but keep her for when my younger brother comes to visit me, he has a full bike liscence so he can ride my 750 when I get my S4RS :)

Well I have just ordered these parts :)

Rizoma Radial naked mirrors (gold/black) (plus adaptors), they are designed for sports bike so need adaptors)
Rizoma Handlebar caps (Gold)
Rizoma Sport line Handle Grips (Black)

price = 380 Euro, so i paid a nice 300 even for it :)

To buy the clipons aswell at the moment is not an option as im a bit skint (need new tyres so money flow is tight), but thats ok because the place I order my parts from take AGES (My tailchop took a month to arrive and a month to have it painted after it arrived *rollseyes* ) SOOO thats ok it gives me time to save up the cash for the clipons. After the parts I have ordered above have arrived then I will order the clipons and by the time they arrive then I should have the cash for them :)

Someone meantioned PBR for my clipons *unsure* anyone heard of them? Are they any good?

http://www.pbr.it/?l=en

Cheers for the help so far [thumbsup]

The clipons on PJ's are too high for my liking.. i prefer the lower profile ones... a more racing position :)

The blue tint on the mirrors is not the actual mirrors themselves but the reflective glass.. apparently it reduces glare (much like the blue strip accross the top of car windscreens). Im not sure about the metal components being tinted blue tho *unsure*

Either way I have a while before I buy them so time to look around at whats best for me, black annodised is a must however :)
