Last weekend I bought my first monster.
I haven't ridden a motor cycle since my MSF course last year, but I used to own trail bike quite a few years ago and I used to ride my dad's old Yamaha 500. This was all many years ago.
So anyway, it's really cold here, but I'm still able, after rugging up good and proper, to ride for at least a brief period. I rode tonight and it was 42F. I'm having so much fun riding even just looking at my new monster. It's great re-learning everything I used to know.
My wife is still angry with me because I refused to ride to the train this morning in 26F weather. She just doesn't understand how cold the hands get.
My question is, I'm waiting for the title to come though from the previous owners bank and he allowed me to keep the license plates until then. I currently have my own insurance on the bike, but I'm a little worried if it is legal for me to ride the bike on the street.
If there is anyone out the who knows the legality of this situation, please let me know.
I'm in New York and the current registration is from New Hampshire.
I think that as long as I have insurance, I should be good.
Thanks for any input.
