What's the best way to remove the fork reflectors that come standard on a 696? It's time for them to go but I don't want to damage the fork in the process.

When i took mine off i just ran a piece of dental floss behind them to separate the reflector and most of its sticky pad from fork and then used some goo gone to clean up the leftovers.

I just used some muscle and turned them clockwise and then counter-clockwise until they came off. Then took the remaining adhesive off with some WD-40.

The dental floss worked well. I heated up the remaining adhesive with a space heater and used a little goo gone, came right off. Bike looks 10 times better without those goofy reflectors on. Thanks for the advice
