I removed the lights from my '02 Monster in preparation for a track day, and in the process I removed the dash cluster. I put the dash back on and it won't start. The fuel pump primes and the dash appears to be getting power (idiot lights turn on but needles don't sweep and backlights don't come on) but no start. I'm assuming there's some sequence of button-pushing that I need to do since I disconnected and re-connected the dash...any ideas or experience with this? Thanks in advance!

Nick what model Monster do you have? Some of the monster like the S4 came with a red key. It is a master key that has to do used under some repairs. It may be a start. Good luck

It's a 620 i.e. Dark...it does have a red key, which I tried to no avail. I'm not sure if there is anything special I need to do, but using it normally didn't do anything.
