Realized when I had my carbon exhaust shields off my M1100s, that the overall looks of the bike is way more neat without. However, the brackets on the exhaust do look quite awkward.

Anyone been removing them in a proper and nice looking way? Any hints how not to cut the hole **** apart plus not getting the surface too polished afterwards?

Tried to search for threads, but couldn't find anything.

No one tried to do this? I have decided to go for a cut, as soon as I'm in a good mood. :) Nobody remember a coward. Just need to be vary stable on hand when grinding it off.
Perhaps no beers in the garage that day...
