So I went to the website, and I was relieved to see the lap timer mounted to a skateboard. It's good to have options.

Just an FYI if you're in the market for a laptimer--

You get $25 rebate off an XT laptimer if you buy it in Dec. Check it out: http://www.cc-2000.com/xtracing/en/rebate.pdf

BTW, XT has been good about repairing my timer after crashing (it's only $35 or so for a new screen).
The crash repair works well for you eh? ;D

I smashed the crap out of mine. $52 total to repair. I'm waiting to get it back so I can see what my last lap times were.

Well, your very last lap time ain't gonna be good. How long did it take the crash truck to get your bike past the beacon again? I can't believe that was only $50. You ground that thing to a pulp. Thank god for billet.

It felt like I was sitting out there for hours. It was probably no more than 10 minutes though.
