Hello folks,

I have a 1999 750. I was wondering about the rear shock/suspension. I noticed the shrader valve at the top of the shock-is it possible to "charge" that thing with oil or gas-whichever the case may be.

I only weigh 165lbs (75 kilos) and sometimes the rear end "hits" a little hard over driveways and such.

The spring adjusters are already about as low as they can go, so I wondering if the shock just needs charging. Or even if it is possible.

The front could also use a little stiffer oil-but thats a later post.

Any help?

The valve is for charging with nitrogen, but that won't affect rear sag.

Mark`s suggestions are definitely worth tryin.
But, the OEM Boge spring is way too soft! At a trackday
we had an Ohlins tech adj our bikes, he said: "What`s this custom/girlie spring doin here?!?"
Got a replacement from Ohlins n got a much better bike.
Much more stable feel n behaviour. Stiffer spring also means
you could adjust the rebound better, you don`t need to overdo it to cool the bike down.
Have the ordernumber if you`re interested.
Good improvement for 80$! ;)

I'd be interested in that part #. What color is the replacement? Does anyone know if the S4 has the same rate spring? I was hoping to color match my wheels and my coil someday.
