I thought that the 2002 750Sie was supposed to have an Ohlins adjustable rear shock, my rear shock is a "Sachs", never even heard of it, and for the kick in the ass I can't see that it is adjustable except for the preload. Did I get ripped off, or am I not looking/seeing things correctly?

Nope stock shock is a Sachs unit. The S4 shock is a cheap upgrade. The Ohlins or other aftermarket shock would be ideal

I have the same bike. Actually, it has two; Spring preload, adjusted by the ring nuts and rebound dampening done by adjusting a screw located on the right side, on of the connection holding the shock absorber to the swingarm. Clockwise to increase dampening.

Speaking of the 2002 M750Sie rear shock...

Anyone know what the stock Sachs spring rate??
The Duc part number is 365.2.045.1A

I need a lighter spring for my bike and I cant find this information anywhere.
Also, does anyone know what size spring fits on that shock so I could buy another spring from some other company?
