Rear Height Adjustment

Are there any advantages to using an adjustable tie rod (TPO) over a height adjustable shock (Ohlins) to raise the rear height of a Monster?

Thanks for the follow-up. My intent is to raise the seat height about an inch and gain some quickness in the steering without getting too twitchy.

I bought the TPO part not knowing I could have used a Ducati part, but I'll get over it.

I will have ECS install the new tie rod and adjust the shock this Saturday - I'll post an update after I have time to evaluate.
