Hi All,

I am having a 2005 Monster Dark 620. The other day, I noticed right at the beginning of a ride that the oil temperature went up rapidly and that the bike was slowing down pretty good when I pulled the clutch. I stopped immediately and found out that the rear break was damn hot and pretty much locked. I was unable to move the pedal. After 15 minutes the pistons in the calipers bounced back and everything worked just fine again. I took the caliper and brake pedal mechanism apart without noticing anything wrong with it.

This is my first bike with Brembo brakes. Anyone ever made similar experience? Is that what Brembo's do every once in a while?

Thanks,
Jens

your pads are dragging on your rotor.
could be either-
-lever adjusted too far in so it is pushing in on the plunger
-caliper pistons are dirty so they arent retracting
