Hi Guys/Gals,

Has anyone ever tried the rear brake caliper from a 748/998 or 749/999 on a Monster?

Will I need to replace the rear master?

I guess the question is why would you?

If your current rear brake is sufficient to lock up the wheel, what benefit would there be in making the change? Most stopping is with front brake anyhow. Are you doing this for any specifice purpose?

Since I got some masters of a XX9, I though I needed to replace the rear also, this is because, coming next year, I'll install Goldlines and though I might also need to replace the rear; but, someone pm me stating, that only replace pads to match fronts.

Or, is this wrong?
