So I've noticed my MPG decreasing over the past few tanks. I brought the bike in to where it got the first maintenance. They made a few adjustments, but didn't have a real explanation.
This time my fuel light went on at 60 miles, and i put off refueling. I parked the bike at work at 82 miles, and it was out of gas by the end of the night- wouldn't start. I didn't notice any leaks under the bike at all, and looked for them after i refueled last night - nothing.
Anyone have any ideas? ??? ???

One guy here with an S4R had the low fuel light stay on all the time (I think), but that's likely just a sensor problem.

He ran out of gas once at a really low mileage, too. I don't know if that's happened to him again or what mileage he gets now.

Maybe something's come unhooked inside the tank?

If it were running that rich, I would think it would be very noticeable; lazy performance, chugging, raw fuel smell, etc.

I'm really guessing, though.......

Pull the tank up and make sure there is no seepage around the fuel sensor. My S4 was doing that. Good way to start a fire....
