Alright here's my stupid question of the day. What is the quick change carrier for.
This is my first single sided swingarm bike. I will go up a tooth or 2 in the back eventually. Most likely as on my other bikes this will be a one time thing except to change the sprocket for normal wear.
Is the quick change neccessary? Or is it a 200$ luxury that makes a rarely done event easier?

It make changing sprockets MUCH easier. However, if you only do it once a year, it's probably a $200 luxury. But....it looks waaay cool at Starbucks. I put one on every bike (seriously).

So, what about that setup makes it "quick change"? I've not had my sprocket & carrier off yet and seriously would like to know. From what I can tell, the axle nut must come off as well as the 5 sprocket nuts. Is there more to it than that? Possibly some issue with the cush drive that isn't visible from outside?

Thanks.
