My 2002 m750 has not been in the shop yet for it's 600 mile service, so this may be a moot point, but...

Is it normal for the air filter to be saturated with gasoline?

My bike tends to "POP" and stall when starting out... (before I let out the clutch, but when I am bringing up the gas from idle, and usually when I am pullling out in front of a truck.) .. so perhaps this is just due to a bad mapping that will be resolved when I take it in for it's 600 mile?

Any ideas?

:eek:Saturated with gas? No! Something is very wrong if this is the case and I wouldn't wait to take it in. The opportunity for fire on a motorcycle is very real, expecially with flames shooting out the throttle bodies/carbs. Wouldn't take much to ignite the gas on/in the air filter which sit right under the gas tank!!!! Don't wait-take it in today!

Yah, take it in pronto. In fact, if I were you I'd tell the dealer to come and pick the thing up.

The injectors are below the throttle butterflies, so there should definitely not be any gasoline above them.
