Are all of the stock exhaust canister's on the Monster interchangable? ...Does it matter the year or model? I think that any year/model canister will fit properly. Example '97 M900 will fit an '03 M620. I guess that would hold true with the many after market slip-ons as well. Is that true? Curious minds need to know ???

although the mounting brackets' shape has changed, and although internal baffling desing has changed, the header diameter and mounting alignment's been consistent through the years. m600-m1000+s4. s4r is different of course.
