Dumb question: What is the correct pronunciation of DAINESE?

I've heard "die-knees", "die-niece", "de-knee-se", "dea-niece", etc.
I give up...

Coming from a 1/2 Italian, that is 1/2 convincing. [smiley=grin.gif]

Do you say the "NE" like in "NEver"? "SE" like in "SEven"?

"Die-nee-Say"

That's how the experts at Ducati of Seattle say it. They know their stuff.

I've got a Frenchman now working to find out the answer to this. Too bad he isn't Italian. We'll find out soon!

"dai-NEE-ze"

The Frenchman got the tip from an Italian (currently living in Italy).

"dai" like DIE.

"NEE" like stretching the "ne" part in NEver.

"ze" like ZEbra.

I'm Italian, so trust me. The right pronunciation is:

DAI - like in "die"
NEH - like if you stretch the "ne" in "never" (the way South Africans of Aussis pronounce never).
SEH - like if you stretch the "se" in "set".

Thanks for the clarification.
