so i got my radial calipers mounted and there's a problem i've ran into. there's only about 1.2mm spacing between the caliper and spokes.

this seems to close for comfort cause i'm worried about the front end flexing and everything going bad.

what's your thought's?

Put a piece of masking tape in the area and give it a gentle ride. If that goes well, experiment with harder rides and/or thicker tape.

i pulled the inner pistons out and measured the wall thickness. the small piston has 5.94mm thickness and large piston has 6.15mm. i was thinking about having 1.75mm shaved off. leaving a minimum 4.19mm.

good tip norm. i thinking something along the lines of that. aluminum foil or something, but tape would be better.

have a machine shop mill off 2mm or so from the mounting surface against the forks. or was that what you were referring to about having them shaved.
