I love trick brakes and one day either carbon or ceramic brakes will become available for street use but mean time I wouldn't try what this guy is doing. For a short time Carbon Loraine was trying to sell a carbon rotor for street use to be used on one side only they claimed they had the cold brake problem fixed but I never heard any more from them. There is no brake fade with carbon brakes between the rotor and the pad on the other hand there is a huge problem with over heating of the brake fluid. I have seen these brakes light up like a red light bulb on GTP cars years ago they would switch on at the end of the straight and turn off just before they entire the corner. At that time the Jaguar technician told they were like 20k a piece.
