Hey Guys, I just finished taking the hacksaw to the tail on my 99 M900. It looks soooo much better. I read the directions on Strati's, Ducatisuite and scott nelson's sites and kind did my own thing.

Basily I made a cardboard template and then made the finished piece out of aluminum sheet. I mounted the stock directionals to "tabs" I made on the plate bracket that poke out from under the seat.

My question is what do you guys do with the cable for the seat release? I removed it and I have been removing the seat with a piece of bent metal shaped like a hook. Not what I want to do forever.

Also does any one have a source for touch up paint for the gold frame? It doest have to be exact, just close enough.

I cant believe how much the little mods make you like the bike better. In the past week, I have removed all the frame stickers, removed the side pods, and the emissions system. Now the tail. The breather for the crank vent is next!

A neat solution for the seat release is to get some aircraft cable and the crush fit deals? and make a loop around each end...ok, this description sucks...email me and I'll email you a picture of mine (ayone who wants it just shoot me your address)= I have no idea how to post pics here

Blake,

The pipes are working out great. In fact I just got back from a nice 40 mile ride on a great indian summer afternoon/night. The pipes are such an improvemnt, it sounds awesome!

you can send me a email at [email protected]

The cable seems like it would be too long to reverse, Im anxious to see how you did it.

Monsta, no kit here, just a pice of carboard and a tape measure :) And a free piece of sheet aluminum.
