I didn't cut it - the prior owner of my 900 had the cover cut by a machinest buddy.

If I were to do it - I'd rough cut with a dremel and then use a file to nice up the lines.

Polishing stuffs pretty simple

Come on yuu. When the "prior owner" is telling you all about the bike you're about to buy, you should listen. [laugh]

No machinest buddy needed. I did it myself with a dremel and a file. ;D

I love this site because it motivates me to go ahead with all the cutting and grinding that my wallet tells me is insane!!!! I'm opening up my stock clutch cover this weekend. Worse case.....I get to buy a new billet cover when I hose this one up. WIN.....WIN the way I see it. Thanks to all! I will post some pics when done.
