No matter how cold it is outside when I start my bike the oil temp display always reads 164 and after riding for a while it never really get accurate readings on the oil temp. I brought it in under warranty thinking it's just a sensor or a bad relay but No...I'm getting a whole new dash that might take a week, Crap!

Well, the thing is the new dash is going to read '0' on the odometer when I get my bike back. I'm going to ask for a certificate from the dealership or Ducati to verify the mileage, incase I want to sell it in a few years and the mileage is screwy.

What do ya think?

In autos the MFG fixes the odometer to be consistent with the one they took out. It can be done in cars so I am assuming Duc has the power. In cars, the MFG sets the new odometer before the part is shipped, which is why it takes so long.

I am assuming Duc can and will do the same thing.

It comes with a zero. Comes from factory, local dealers can not change it. Get them to write a letter stating date and mileage at replacement.
