Hey everyone, I know this has been discussed before in reference to the S4RS, but I thought I'd bring it up here again as a precaution for everyone.
I talked to my local dealer today and they looked up my bike (an S4RS), and said it is covered by a 28 page service bulletin about the need to retorque the bolts on the oil pump. Interestingly, they read off the list of bikes covered by the bulletin and it included the 695 and several others. (Sorry, I don't remember exactly which models but it wasn't a short list.)
I don't know if this is classified as a recall (hence the DNA message stating there are no open recalls on the 695), but it might be worth asking your local dealer to look through the service bulletins to see if your bike is affected.
Mine's going in to have the work done, covered under warranty of course. Again, if I missed previous conversations about this, I apologize for the repost, but I thought it may be worth everyone's attention.
