Does anyone get their oil changed anyplace but Seattle duc or Eastside? Maybe someplace that is easy to get an appointment at, and maybe even change while I wait?

Also, do you guys use the $15/quart 'motorcycle' synthetic? To date, I

It really is easy to do yourself and for about 40 dollars for the filter and synthetic Bardal(?) motorcycle oil it saves some cash and downtime. I'm using synthetic motorcycle oil....because that is what the shop uses and Ducati sends them out of the factory with synthetic. Your bike has a wet clutch and some of the car oil have additives that can cause your clutch to slip. I would save some money with labor and spend a little more on oil.

I change my own oil. Real simple and takes about 15-20 minutes.

You need:
- New Oil Drain Crush washer
- New Oil filter screen Crush washer
- New Oil filter

As for oil, I use Mobil1 15-50 with no problems. Of course, I do have a dry clutch...

I'll try to find my last receipt from DucSea and post the prices of each item above, but it probably won't be until tomorrow... ;)
