I had to take my damper off about a week ago after it seemed to have broken :'( It was a rather hot day(about 100) and my damper was pulling my bike from side to side, alternating. It's not that fun riding when you have to fight the bike! When I stopped and tried to adjust it, the little knob popped off and started leaking a little hydrolic fluid. Needless to say I was very upset. So I took the damper off and emailed EMA where I bought it. He said that it sounded defective and is getting me a new one. So my question is... is this really defective or is a new one going to do the same thing?? Anyone out there have the Ohlins? Are you happy with it?

thanks!

I have never heard of an Ohlins damper failing. I have seen piles of other dampers sucking air or leaking fluid but never an Ohlins.
