I want to remove the headers on my 94 M900 to wire brush off the rust. I picked up the bike a couple months ago and am doing a “restoration” on it. New motor approx 12k ago which I guess is the last time these bolts were removed. What are the chances these things will seize/snap on me? I will be giving them a good PB Blaster soaking beforehand.

Run the engine or hit it with heat...never had a bolt snap on me after dozens of Michigan winters

Shockingly the nuts came off easy! One was a 13mm, the other a 9/16”...... 🤔

It's not a Harley, where the odds are 104.7% that they will snap or you will chew them down to useless nubs trying to get them out. Whichever comes first.
