I was looking at the Nichols site earlier after reading about the Flying D incpection cover in another thread. The dual spark heads immediately caught my attention.

Has anyone had any experience with these, or know anyone that knows anyone that knows anything about them?

This looks like a worthwhile mod, if they don't cost as much as another whole engine.

This month's Featured Monster has 'em, well, BCM style anyway.

Potentially would allow you to safely run higher compression with less advance.

No FHE here, though. Just shootin' my mouth off.

I have dual plugs on the 966 Gp Due. I did 29 dyno runs made the best power with 31degrees advance one less then stock. Dual plugs didn't make any difference there. I didn't not try pulling a plug wire but I honestly don't think they would be worth more the 2 or 3 horse power on a typical two valve. Let me make this real clear the ports on the two valve SUCK. The first and most important thing to change is the ports if you can't get air in and out nothing else is going to make any difference.
