Anyone running one of these on their fuel injected non-dual spark monster? How's it working for ya? Tough to install?

Since Ducati must think the 2v f.i. engines need some ignition help, thus the ds, doing something to boost ignition on the single pluggers seems a no-brainer. But only if it really works.

Thanks,
Bob

what is it ? where to get it ?
Here's the spiel from the www.evoluzione.net web site:

this electronic ignition amplifier was developed specifically for the late model computer controlled bikes. the stock ignition system is an inductive type (as opposed to a cd or capacitive discharge type). energy is stored in the coil until the igniter system breaks the connection, forcing the energy through the secondary system (spark plugs & wires). when the coil "fires", all of the energy stored in the coil is released. the problem is that sometimes the "loading" in the cylinder is too much for the available energy which results in a misfire or partial burn. this "loading" is dependant on many factors but plug gap is probably the most significant. assuming the plug fires, the bigger the plug gap, the more energy (current) can be released and the better the burn will be (especially at part throttle). this unit increases the primary voltage to the coil (up to 20 volts) but the real trick is that the internal microprocessor (running at 100,000 hz) senses the loading of the circuit and will feed additional current into the system as demand goes up (to a maximum of 20 amps). this is just the opposite of the stock ignition - as demand goes up, current drops. the typical answer is to decrease plug gaps to reduce arc-over voltage but this becomes a losing battle. this unit will actually increase current (energy) into the circuit, providing more complete combustion.

important features and benefits:
ideal for use with high flow air filters and exhaust
simplified wiring designed for quick installation
built-in diagnostic led
new "data port" allows additional control by allowing you to tune the power output of the unit

Anyone else try this ???
