New to Ducati, need some help/advice with the 97 900 Monster I just picked up.

Hello everyone, as post title says, I am new to Ducati. I just bought a 97 Monster 900. I need a few parts but everything I look up goes from the 821s to the 1100s. Are the 900s a literal Monster of their own? I need new levers, long preferred, the short brake hose that runs from the front master to the distribution block on the triple tree ( seems that is about as easy to find as the winning lottery numbers), a longer kick stand and just some general advise on these. Are there other models that are parts compatible with the Monsters? Any and all help would be apricated more than I can express.

The original lever is a pretty common part accross a LOT of models/ years.
That's assuming it's still the coffin style built in reservoir and hasn't been changed to the plastic remote reservoir style master cylinder.

Is that brake hose runber?
If so get a braided line, Galfer? seem to be the go to guys in the US.
The original from ducati is NLA.

Use this for original part reference, if they have it listed with a price your duc dealer should be able to get it for you.
Click on the part number if you want to see what other models use the same part number if you're looking at 2nd hand parts.

I just purchased a 2014 796 abs & am also having issues finding parts. Dallas Ducati sent me some parts in about a week. Try looking up Dealers. Brakes, spark plugs, filters are about all you will find local. Good luck & let me know what you find.
