Howdy,
I'm selling my '03 749s track bike.
It is registered on the street with a salvage title.
It has 7677 miles (~1700 street, ~6000 track). Last valve adjust / belt replacement was at ~6000 miles (I've halved the intervals).
The bike includes:
-Ohlins superbike internals on the front forks
-Ohlins steering damper
-Showa rear shock (swapped out from what is in the photos)
-Ducati performance fairing stay
-Rashed, but repairable / repaintable / useable sharkskins track bodywork
-Cored out stock exhaust (lets it breathe, saves some weight, gets most of HP benefit from exhaust)
-Power commander with two-cylinder custom map built for cored stock exhaust
-STM Evoluzione slipper clutch
-Brembo 19x18 radial master cylinder for brakes
-Pit Bull rear stand (spools have been welded to swingarm -- damn handy!)
-BCM rearsets
-BCM reverse shifter
-Lots of spares:
-2 new sets of clutch plates ($500 value), 5 partially used sets that can be used to adjust stack height -- also includes STM sipper clutch tool for easier maintenance
-1 spare set of brake pads used for 4 days
-1 extra air runner for right side
-original Brembo radial brake lever and 1 spare folding lever (valued $100 each)
-spare ECU, countless others
-Extra full stock exhaust system
-Bound Ducati service manual
Here's the "low-down":
The bike has been a track bike since '04. It has been crashed several times, but the frame was just certified straight & true by GP Frame and Wheel in Napa, CA (gpframeandwheel.com).
Here's what *is* damaged (cosmetic damage only):
-tank has some dents and scratches
-Tops of forks are scraped down (they are totally functional -- I throw in a free extra set of forks with bent feet if you want to swap out the adjusters)
-bodywork is scraped / worn / scratched and the tail piece has seen better days
She runs pretty good. I never maxed out the bike, but I did turn very respectable times at several of the local tracks.
