There's a pretty large group of Monster Riders in the SD area.
Keep checking back here, you'll find rides being planned nearly every weekend.
Drop into this thread and post your info. It says Greater-LA, but we're in the process of enhancing the map to include the SD folks:

I am in Encinitas, go to palomar when it isn't freezing. What kind of riding have you done in the past? Touring/trackdays/knockaround? What part of the county do you live/hangout/work?

·Hey William, welcome to the SCMHA, and the Monster board. A lot of us down here in S.D., but sometimes it is hard to organize rides. I am always up for a ride and now will have a bit more flexable work hours and I could possibly put in some week day rides if any one is interested. I was going to do Palomar tomorrow ( 11/29 ) not sure what time. Depends on the rugrats. I am interested in meeting some other riders also. I live in Fallbrook so it's no hardship to go on short notice. Fire back a reply tonight if you ( or anyone else for that matter ) would like to ride. If not I'll see you on the mountain. I'm on a 620 with a blue lid.

It's Saturday morning and I just got a get out of jail card. If you can respond by 10:30, I am on my way to palomar. Anticipated round trip will result in back to Encinitas by 1:30. If you would like to do this, please respond. I will check the board before I depart.

I'm currently stuck in limbo with a new bike in my garage and no class m license. I have to wait 7 to 10 days to receive it.
can't wait to ride!
I'm driving up to the motorcycle show on friday 12/12 and staying over til

·I purchased my bike at Aprilia-Ducati of oceanside for about 15,300 otd.
first things first , the tail has to go.
I'm ordering the cf abreviated tail piece from dp.
They also have a solo seat (cf) that looks sick.
an exhuast system is planned, but I'm not sure what kind.
The mirrors are kind of high, so they may have to go.
I'm not sure if I like the windscreen either.
gotta go,ride safe.
