I bought a 600 monster in 1994 and soon realised I wanted more fom it. Especially for the annual TT ride on mad sunday. Fitted a lot of parts from other models (too many to list). Main stuff was a 900 motor from an SS (replaced all the bearings, along with lightened flywheel, 1mm oversized valves to complement the 944 Ducati performance upgrade, 888 swingarm, superlight wheels (not marvic unfortunately) showa forks, aluminium tank, clip ons, few bits of carbon, 916 mudguard, and the list gos on. Anyway, just saying hello and pointing out my Monster is not standard by any stretch of the imagination. Most of the bikes history is on my web page though for thos with an interest in such things. www.diablo944.co.uk/t.htm
Before anyone asks, the only reason I am using a Cagiva logo is that they were still involved with Ducati when I bought mine. Lots of little elephants manufacturer stamped all over the place on my bike.
