Hey everybody, I just joined this site and also just got an '02 S4. Looking for some other people in Arizona, I actually live in Gilbert, that go riding, or are members of a riding club I could get involved with...

Gilbert, too. Eliott and Val Vista. Adam (azmnstr) lives here, too. Hopefully I'll get my beast rolling again soon from its rebuild.

Cool, I am not too far away, Val Vista and Williams Field...

I guess Gilbert is becoming a Monster Den. Must be at least 4 riding around now (or mostly sitting in the garage since it is so hot).

There is a Ducati club or two around. They meet a few times a month-but I haven't been going recently. I'll probably go back once it cools down.

What color S4?

I got a Red S4, ofcourse it comes with all the carbon fiber bits and pieces, so there is just as much carbon as there is Red..., but as I am sure will always be the case, it needs more carbon fiber!!!

Along with my 02 BMW K1200RS I'm the proud owner of a 97 yellow M900, garaged near Crismon and Baseline in East Mesa. I ride the Monster to work just about every day (hot or not) and am out and about on most weekends. Company welcome.

Cool! More Ducs in the East Valley! I ride the '03 Silver 620. The only one in the Valley (well there is one other sitting on the floor at AZSBK) so it's not hard to miss me! I ride EVERYDAY no matter what the temp is so let me know if you guys want to go for a ride. I am hoping to go up to Sedona, Jerome and Chino Valley soon after I get my 6000 mi service this week and when it cools down. We should all go up to S'Dale 3rd week of the month to the local hangout. I am in the Recker/Eliott area. It looks like there are about 6 of us here. That would make a mean pack of Monsters to hit the streets! 8) HURRY UP AND GET YOUR BIKE ROLLING DION! ;)

I'm up in the dirt roads of Rio Verdi area but never liked to ride in pacs or group rides unless it was a spontanious thing. Azmonster, what is this hangout in Scottsdale 3rd week of month? I mostly ride my 750 dark with polished scorpion exaust all over valley daily, I laugh at the heat, cower at the monsoon!

Hell, Adam, I've got frickin' wiring issues now. Hoping I've got it tracked down to a bad earth ground, but I'm not getting spark. May take a day off this week to try and fix it. Didn't see you at the gym last night ... slackin'?

Yeah! sounds great... Hey, aside from us all gettin' together sometime for ride to hang out, or ride to sedona or what ever, Because I am up for any of it or all of it.... where do you guys take your bike for service/parts etc. I bought my bike at Cycle-Moto, but have already heard all kinds of bad things about them... are they true, is dirt and street in phoenix a better place?

Hey, wondered if you would find this forum... I was there the day you were picking up your S4 (getting more stuff for my 620... Greg was giving you an intro to the bike). I spoke to you briefly but I forgot to mention this place. Oh well, good to see yet another Gilbert Monster owner... I am at Higley and Pecos. Just beware... you now have a bike that you will constantly want to modify/tinker with. Here is what mine looked liked a month ago (it now has some more stuff done to it):

Some of the mods are: custom repaint adding the corse stripes, chopped tail, different handle bars (some I had for a 72 Norton Commando... more relaxed riding position), CRG Lane-Splitter Mirrors, blacked out headlight and pipes, and some other small items.

The best guy around is Tom Hull... http://www.tomsitaliantuneandservice.com His family were the previous owners of Cycle-Moto. He performs service out of his shop behind his house (near Val Vista and Southern) and he is a certified Ducati mechanic... no warranty worries. His rates are less than the dealers and he allows you to hang around while he does the work... great way to learn something.

Hey Yellow..thanks for the info on the Duc Mechanic. I have to get my 6000 mi service. I should get it done next week while I go to Vegas. Dion...I haven't been slackin...just going in at different times when I get a spare hour. Monstermash...yellowmonster can give you the site that tells you about the placein s'dale and chandler. They get together 2 x's/month.

Yea, I can already feel the ITCH! Tail chop, new mirrors, termi pipes, carbon fiber this, that, and the other... Only problem is $$$, not only did I just get my bike, but my wife wants one now too! Which I have no problem with, because it will get her off the back of mine... But that ties up some customization funds!

;D I have to say that cycle-moto has been great, from the purchase of my bike to the minor repair work I have had done. Greg and his crew are top notch as far as I am concerned. Again, if anyone wants to get together just EMail me.
