I just put new levers on. I seem to be having an issue with the clutch. It doesn't seem to be releasing the transmission. I try to roll it around the garage in gear then pull in the clutch and it doesn't seem like it releases all the way. Any idea?

What model have you got? Possibly you just need to bleed your system.

That's what I was thinking too, just seemed odd.

2012 1100 evo
Have you tried starting it yet?

I have noticed that there is a high "breakaway"drag on the clutch, even when it is working perfectly.

I have a 2013 796. With the engine off, and the bike in gear and on a stand and with the clutch pulled in - I cannot easily turn the rear wheel by hand. But if I apply a bit of force it sort of "breaks free" and then turns freely.

I had the same worry when I bled the clutch on mine the first time.
