Thanks to a wonderful effort by Nick (goldFiSh) and his wife, our photoshop file that lets you mix 'n match colors, wheels, frames, exhausts, etc. has been transformed into a terrific Flash application.

So, modders, have fun here:

Thanks people for the kind words.

Actually it is all my wife's doing - she is the flash coding guru, I was just playing the artsy-farsty-director-dude and when I got into coding trouble she fixed it ;D

And whilst not diminishing her good work, the real thanks should go to the person who provides the photoshop file - now that's where the work is!

won't take long at all! all things going to plan, a couple of days or so. You never know it might be a new years gift to the DML!

and I just checked it, and noticed the crappy spelling!! Whoops ;D The name of the thing changed quite a few times, and no one spell checked it!
In fact, anyone wanna suggest a better name than _configurator_ then by all means let's hear it!

There are a few options I would like to tweak, but if the tools are available, I don't mind doing the work. What (besides a lot of time and effort) was used to compose the image?

The source file is from the DML downloads section - it is a photoshop document with all the differing colours on layers that can be turned on and off.

There was lots of extras that I would have liked to add, but I am no photoshop expert (in fact I suck at it ;D ), and simply used the available options in the original file. I would not have personally piucked the "neon" options as they are not my taste, but they were available in the original file, hence they were included here.
