OK, I just started having this problem a few days ago. The neutral light on my dash stays on but is really dim when I'm in gear. In neutral it lights up bright like always. I'm going to do my clutch later this month, could this be a problem of a worn clutch? Has anyone else had a similar problem, and is there a way to adjust the neutral switch?

I don't have a bypass harness so it must be the switch. I've seen the switch wire in back, I'll check it tomorrow. Thanks

My "N" light stays on dim after I wash my bike. It start out at about 20% bright and gradually dims over a couple days. I think I need to waterproof a couple connections.

My switch (the old and new one) has two wires. It is adjustable by changing shim thickness. The shims are very soft aluminum like crush washers to make a good oil seal. When I put my new switch in, it needed a slightly thinner shim. A couple of light taps with a hammer on an anvil made it slightly thinner ;D If I had needed thicker, I would have probably played around with thin nylon washers first.
