OK guys I'm in need os some assistance. My bike is finished, except for three small parts which Ducati has had on order for me for over a month and there is no end end in sight. I'm missing the swingarm end cap, screw and inner plate for the left side of my swingarm. This allows you to line up the axle. I know some of you have done single swingarm swaps so I thought that someone might want to sell these parts to me. I'm tired of waiting on Ducati and the salvage yards have been a no joy situation. I know Norm has a custom swing arm, maybe he still has the old one? Any help is appreciated to get me on the road.

There's gotta be someone out there that has one left over. I'm tired of just listening to my bike run.

Thanks,

Seems to me you could just grunt that axle into place the hard way to get things working, couldn't you? I mean, the adjuster and stuff only make it easier to move the axle around, if I'm understanding the process correctly; the big axle nut is really all that holds it in place.

Well, that's what I'd do, anyway, but then I've been known to cut very unwise corners when a car/bike is _this_ close to being done and it's just sitting there staring at me :)

I've thought about that. But you should have seen the rear sprocket and chain before I replaced them, the wheel was cock-eyed and it ate up the aluminum sprocket and began to wear the chain. My friend is a bit of a stickler, it's his shop and he is just trying to keep his work quality up. I just wanted ti get it done right, and not have to bring it back later.

Thanks for the help. I've been able to track down the parts from a guy in NJ who salvages monsters. I bought some parts early on from him and he just got in a monster he was parting out. They should be here tomorrow and on the bike on Mon. I'll be riding Tuesday!!!

Sorry to be so slow responding, but I just found this message. I don't have any extras, but if the other guy doesn't come thru, I've got one I can loan you from a bike that is down for some mods. Let me know. [email protected]

Thanks for the offer. This guy is really solid, I've bought parts from him before with no problems.
