this isthe only place i oculd think of tht has the people that can repond to my question. I heard to get your drivers permit u now need to be 15, not 15 in a half. Is that the same with a motorcycle now? only have to be 15. i hope so because i oculd then ride me ducati and not have to wait 1 more month

There are people here from all over the country and world. I image you would have to check local regulations to get the correct answer. Here in PA, you need to be 16. I know there are some states like AK that allow driving at 14. It all depends where you live.

I personally don't know a single 14 year old that has the maturity to responsibly opperate a motor vehicle on the open road with other drivers. I know alot of kids that can handle a car or bike very well, and some are great, fearless racers, but fearless is not a good quality for the roads we share.

In Texas (Houston) you have to be 16 to ride anything over 50cc. That's why my little brother rides a sweet RS 50.
