Snap-On Tools, or Mac Tools. I use Snap-On, but they don't sell from retail stores, only off trucks. You can normally catch them at car dealerships. Be prepared to pay$$$$. ;D

i was hoping to stay away from the tool trucks. I used to be an automobile mechanic, took me years to pay off my truck bill. That sh!t is like crack, and twice as expensive.

Didn't you save any of your "crack"?

I found that even though I no longer work on cars(thank god),I'll never sell my tools. Way too expensive to buy, and you never get enough for them when you do sell.

get the craftsman power and hand tools catalog fot 2003-2004, page 51. they have individual sockets.
looks like 6 point only go up to 22mm, 12 goes to 36mm.
you can probly order online or at the store, ask a clerk i think you can place your order at the store and have it sent to your house.
try napa, they have tools. might be able to get 6 point.

I have access to SK Tools at good prices. I may even have that socket in stock, but it would be a 12 point. If anyone needs any socket sets or other tools, I can hook you up. I have paint too. (PPG, BASF, House of Kolor etc...)

I happened to notice this title and was intrigued. Funny thing is that Herb has posted on here and only made a small reference to crack. Nothing about your nuts. I hope you find what you are looking for. Your nuts are important. The old family jewels. I had this really demented friend that liked to play with his dog's nuts. Weirdest thing.

just a point of clarification... the nut size is 30mm and the hex size for the rear axle is 17mm... found the hex key at sears of all places (didn't think 17mm would be a common size). for the nut, i found a 30mm at home depot but later realized that the flywheel retaining nut is also 30mm... if you ever plan on swapping your flywheel (yourself), you may as well head over to autozone to pickup a DEEEEEEP 30mm socket. as luck would have it, 30mm's a common axle nut size for japanese cars so autozone carries a deep 6 point socket in that size. $12 or so if i recall.

"Had this friend"? Yeah, we've all heard that one before!
