After road testing the S4 and S4R I chose the S4 mainly because I was able to get it for almost 3 grand less and did not notice much difference in power. Yeah the S4R seemed to have a little more grunt but not enough for me to want to pay 3 grand more. As far as getting the front wheel off the ground, a slight twist of the wrist and I am airborn. 
Not putting your bike down, in fact the black is the hottest out there and I am totally envious and if money was not an issue I would be on the S4R. (maybe next time)
