Hi guys...I've been browsing this board for a few months and decided it's time to show you my project. I picked up this '02 750 in early September and have been working on it since. The bike was totalled due to a dented tank, cracked case (kickstand mount), crushed fork, twisted shifter and brake levers, and road rash on the f. fender, clutch cover, fairing, cowl, and r. can.
These pics are before and after...I still have CC Clip-ons, gauge visors, and billet grips to install and am awaiting the shipment of a Carbon Dream tail from Spareshack which will be painted to match (color is '03 Nissan 350Z aluminum chrome)...I look forward to your feedback.

Love those salvage Monsters too! Bought mine at the end of September. It was totaled due to the frame. Funny thing is, there is no damage to the frame. But, it's got a dented tank and some roadrash here and there.

Eric, your's is looking mighty fine! Very nice coordination of the asthetics and color choice.

Here's mine:

hehe...i though about keeping it (the bungee, that is), but figured that it didn't fit w/ the new "theme" of the bike...long story short...it was pouring rain when I picked it up the night before (actually, it was the Hurricane that we in the NE experienced) and I didn't have time to f w/ the tank clasp for the 150 mile trailer ride home
thanks for the compliments...right now I'm just awaiting the scheduling of the "NY salvage vehicle exam" and, contingent upon passing, of course, will be riding the first opportunity i get

Nice job! The depth of the gloss on the paint job is unreal for that shade of silver, especially for it to show like that in a photo.
