I just received my new Motowheels clutch slave today. It's a beautiful piece of equipment but there's just one problem. There is no mention in the instructions about the solid little alloy cylinder. Based on the description on their website I'm assuming that this is for the short pushrod bikes and that my '98 is a short pushrod bike. Also, the alloy cylinder is recessed on one end; which way does it go into the piston? Recess in or out? Once I get this figured out it should be a breeze to install.

Thanks,
Mike

No offense, but that happens a lot around here.

It's just so easy to ask your friends on the board rather than calling a stranger on the phone ;)

None taken. Sometimes I wonder where my brain is at. :-[

May as well complete the thread with the answer. The little cylinder is for the short pushrod bikes and goes in flat side first with the recess facing out. ;D
