Ok, Here's one for you performance minded riders. I want to get some thing for my bike. I'm debating between the MDST diagnostic cables and software, which would give me the ability to fine tune the CPU on my bike for optimum perf. and do basic diagnostics. Or getting a ignition amplifier which wiil give me a few more horses through the entire band. Either of which would be a good base for any mech. upgrades. I know there are a lot of ways to get more HP but I want my bike to run well in all conditions not just flat out.

You may want to get a PCIII too. That will allow you to remap everything and can add up to 5hp. Your bike is fuel injected, right?

I think it's carb'd, same as Ron and Mark.

Yes it is fuel injected, And whats a PCIII? If you mean the 5.9 controller then I have that. (Paid way too much through DP for it) I do wish there was one place or site for good info. If anybody knows where I can find the Holy Grail for monsters PLEASE TELL ME! I spend way too much time searching the net for bits and pieces of info.

Power Commander. It remaps the fuel mixture and the ECU I believe. You can get a custom Dyno map done at most bike places (MCC or SBK) for around 2 - 300.

SpongeBob, your bike having the 1.5 ECU is easy to tune, either with a pc or ultimap.....ultimap being the best way to go.....both would work best on a dyno of course, and remapped by someone who knows what they are doing.....if you had a desire to get the tuning the best it could be, I would make the drive to Minneapolis and go to Doug Lofgren, or Manley Cycle....here are a few links that may be helpful.....
