Hi,

I'm trying to set the preload on my 2011 evo but the manual doesn't tell which direction in more/less preload.
Clockwise and counterclockwise, which is less and which is more ?

Thanks!

Clockwise increases preload. Screwing the adjuster in lowers the adjuster within the fork assembly which pushes down on the spring spacer compressing the springs.

Right/tighty.
Lefty/loosely.

As for 7 turns in being standard. What is defined as standard.

What you need to do is dial your preload in so you have 30mm of sag.

For more info Dave Moss in YouTube. He is a wealth of suspension tuning knowledge
