I second this -- I have the Monstracks and dig them. You have to do a little work to see behind you, but not too much. The bar end mirrors are cool and I'm sure they are effective, but one of my favorite things about the Monster is how narrow it is (the better to lane-split, my dear), and the bar end mirrors increase the width of the bike. If you're in a state where lane-splitting is illegal, however, maybe that isn't a real consideration.I'm biased since I own a pair but I really love the monstrack mirrors. You give up a bit of vertical viewing but gain a better horizontal view. I find I can see right behind me with just a little arm jiggle. Bar end mirrors might off the best view but I just dont like the way they look.
We didn't think it was so narrow when trying to put it in between 2 HD's on our trailer...there was no way it was gonna squeeze in there, those stock pipes stick way out!!!but one of my favorite things about the Monster is how narrow it is.
Maybe the problem wasn't the Duc -- maybe is was those chubby ol' harleys! We didn't think it was so narrow when trying to put it in between 2 HD's on our trailer...there was no way it was gonna squeeze in there, those stock pipes stick way out!!!
