I am switching to bar end mirrors and want to plug the hole on the lever mounts where the mirrors once screwed in on my 2002 Foggy Monster. I thought I would go to the Ace store and buy two copper flat plugs in the plumbing dept, but they are all course threaded. Then I thought of a black rubber plug, but I can't find any auto parts stores. Anyone have a suggestion?

I like the plastic plugs at $1 each sounds pretty appealing. Thanks

I went to an autobody shop and got 2 plugs that fit the holes perfectly. I think the ones I used were toyota interior plugs. Best of all it was free. Autobody shops want good PR so a 50 cent item is a good investment as it may be enough to get you back in the shop when you lay the bike down or smuck up your truck in the winter.
