Odd question, I've searched the Net to no avail.

Is there a minimum age for a passenger on a motorcycle in California?

Sorry I am not sure on the age..but I hear they just passed a law out there that the pillion rider has to be six feet away, because they are afraid the passenger could be a stripper. ::)

I've never heard of an explicit age requirement.

If they're less than 40 pounds or under 4 years old you might have to put them in a booster seat, though. ;)

Not sure if its the same here, but in the UK there is no minimum age/weight requirement. The law states that they must be able to put both feet firmly on the rear footpegs to be allowed to pillion on a bike.

Would think something similar would apply here.

As suggested above, call DMV & see what they say.
